Information we receive

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and the information you include. Please do not send medical records, government ID numbers, or other sensitive details.

When you visit, Cloudflare and Hostinger may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, request time, and security or access logs. Cloudflare handles website traffic through its proxy and security services; Hostinger hosts the site.

The tax and weight calculators run in your browser. They do not send the values you enter to PoliticsOfPot or save them in a site account. The site has no account registration or contact form.

How information is used

We use emails to respond to questions and corrections. Technical information helps deliver pages, diagnose errors, and protect the site from abuse. We do not use calculator entries to make decisions about you or provide medical services.

Service providers and disclosures

Cloudflare provides website delivery and security services. Hostinger provides site hosting and email service for our contact address. These providers may process information needed to perform those services under their own privacy terms. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably needed to respond to a valid legal request, protect rights or safety, or address fraud and abuse.

Cookies and similar technology

PoliticsOfPot does not use site-installed advertising or analytics scripts, and its calculators do not set browser cookies or local storage. Cloudflare may use cookies or similar measures for security and traffic management. The cookies encountered can depend on the security features used and how a visitor accesses the site. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for details.

Retention and security

We retain emails as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage corrections and records, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements. How long technical logs are kept depends on provider settings and why they are needed. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or email system is completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You can choose whether to email us or use the calculators. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other controls over personal information. Email [email protected] with a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law permits or requires it.

Children

PoliticsOfPot is not directed to children under 13. Please do not send us personal information about a child under 13. If you believe we have received it, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

External websites

We link to government agencies, source documents, and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own; review their notices before giving them information.
